Workshop: How we Suffer Part 1 - When we Want what we Don’t Have - Craving

We are all looking to be happy, content, and fulfilled - and these states are everyone’s birthright. But we often feel just the opposite - sad, dissatisfied, and disappointed. The root cause comes when we cling onto good things and then they end, or we crave for something we don’t have that we want. Both clinging and craving cause us to suffer – to feel sad, dissatisfied, and disappointed. But there is another way! Mindfulness, with its two wings of compassion and wisdom, offers freedom from clinging and craving, and brings more ease with life as it is. This is part one of a two-part series. You can take any one or both parts. The workshop will include some meditation, presentation, discussion, and writing. No meditation experience necessary.

Saturday November 13, 2021, 10:00am-noon EST. On zoom. Fee: $35. Sliding scale available. Email: liz@lizkinchen.com to register by Nov 11.

Note: This workshop is postponed to a later date.
