Workshop: Cultivating a Loving Heart in Challenging Times

Conditions around us continue to carry uncertainty and stress – covid is not contained and the public discourse is far from calm, just to name a couple sources of anxiety. When we feel frustrated, angry, or despairing, we can learn to see with eyes of the heart, and we realize that we are interconnected. As humans, we are actually more alike than we are different, even when we come in very different packaging. Remembering this is calming and restores hope and confidence. Living from a loving heart feels good because it aligns us with the best in ourselves. This not only helps us but also those around us. In this two-hour workshop, we’ll explore ways to cultivate a loving heart even in the midst of uncertainty and strife. The workshop will include some meditation, presentation, discussion, and writing. No meditation experience necessary.

Saturday October 30, 2021, 10:00am-noon EST. On Zoom. Fee: $35. Sliding scale available.
